Services & pricing

Four ways to work together

Every engagement is a fixed fee agreed before work starts — no hourly meters, no surprises. Public prices are honest starting points; the exact number depends on scope, and you get it in writing.

Flagship

The Feature

Your brand told as a scroll-driven film — a fully custom cinematic website people share for how it feels, not just what it says.

  • Five to eight pages or scenes, composed as one continuous story
  • The full signature kit: scroll-scrubbed hero, pinned story rails, self-drawing lines, film grain, glass navigation, magnetic detail
  • Custom code — GSAP, Lenis, vanilla JavaScript. No frameworks you'll have to maintain
  • Fast loads and 60fps motion as the definition of done
  • Thirty days of post-launch care included

You bring (or we source together) photography and raw copy. We shape both — but we won't invent your story for you.

The Short

A single-page scroll story for a product launch, a campaign, an announcement — shipped in weeks, not months.

  • One page, three to five scenes, one hero technique done properly
  • Fixed scope, fixed price, two revision rounds
  • No CMS, no backend — pure speed and polish
  • The natural audition piece — a Short is built so it can grow into a Feature

Site + platform

The Director's Cut

The Feature with working machinery behind it — ordering, booking, multilingual content, a clean admin panel. Built on Laravel.

  • Everything in The Feature
  • Laravel backend: online ordering or booking, forms and lead capture, payments and email integrations
  • Multilingual content management your staff can actually use
  • Integrations scoped conservatively, in writing, before signing — honest limits, no 24/7 ops theatre

For agencies

Second Unit

White-label creative development. In film, the second unit shoots the hard footage while the director runs the set — that's the arrangement: you direct, we make it move.

  • Build from your finished design files — pixel-loyal, motion-first
  • GSAP and Lenis scroll choreography, canvas work, micro-interactions, performance rescue on existing builds
  • NDA-friendly, credit optional, your client stays your client
  • Timezone advantage: your London morning is our morning; New York wakes up to finished work

Before & after the build

Two small things worth knowing

Design Sprint

Paid discovery — €900

A strategy call, a content and structure audit, and a working, animated hero concept — not a static mockup. You see your site moving before you commit to the full build. The €900 is credited toward any project that goes ahead.

Care & beyond

Launch is the beginning

Standard care — €190/month: managed hosting, backups, monitoring, updates and up to two hours of changes. Priority — €390/month: five hours, a quarterly motion refresh, first in line. No lock-in; leave any month.

The honest comparison

Where Silkern sits

A template shop

  • Someone else's theme, bent until it almost fits
  • Motion bolted on at the end, if at all
  • Fast and cheap — and it looks it

A large agency

  • The senior team pitches, a junior team builds
  • Your project is one of forty in the pipeline
  • Craft at this level usually starts around $30k

Silkern

  • Custom code, composed around your story
  • The person you brief is the person who builds
  • Fixed fee from €3,500 · one flagship project at a time

Before you write

Questions we actually get

How much will my website cost?
One-page scroll stories start at €3,500, full cinematic sites at €7,500, and sites with working machinery (ordering, booking, admin) at €12,000. The exact number is a fixed fee, agreed in writing after one scoping call — never an hourly meter, never a surprise invoice.
How long does it take?
A Short ships in 2–3 weeks, a Feature in 4–8, a Director's Cut in 8–12. We run one flagship project at a time, so your start date is agreed upfront and your project is never queued behind someone bigger.
What do you need from me?
Photography (or the budget to source it), your brand assets, and raw material for the copy — bullet points are fine, we shape them. Plus one person on your side who can make decisions. That's it.
Who actually builds my site?
One person — the founder — designs and builds everything, end to end, on eleven years of professional development across Python, PHP/Laravel, JavaScript and C#. No handoffs, no account managers, no junior team behind a senior pitch. You watch the build evolve on a live staging URL, week by week.
What happens after launch?
Thirty days of care are included with every build. After that, €190/month covers hosting, backups, monitoring, updates and small changes — €390/month adds more hours and a quarterly motion refresh. No lock-in; you can leave any month and the site stays yours.
Do you build web applications?
When they live behind a story we built — ordering, booking, dashboards, client portals, on Laravel. That is The Director's Cut. We don't take on standalone app builds: the site comes first, the machinery serves it.
We're an agency — can you build for us quietly?
Yes — that's Second Unit. You send finished design files, we return award-grade scroll choreography under NDA, with or without credit. Your client stays your client.
