The brief

A new store, without losing the old one.

HomeKraft sells furniture and everything for home and garden — and shares an owner with ToyTown. Their old site had to go, but without losing the visitors Google still sends to its old addresses.

The catalog comes from four suppliers and the old site. Thousands of products arrive in English only, the same model shows up in several colors as separate products, and shipments leave from different warehouses.

  1. 01

    A catalog in English

Thousands of names and descriptions a Bulgarian shopper simply wouldn’t read.

  2. 02

    Variants everywhere

One model in five colors shouldn’t be five separate cards in the catalog.

  3. 03

    Google rankings

The old addresses bring in visits. They mustn’t lead to an error page.

  4. 04

    Big-ticket purchases

Furniture calls for buying on installments — and delivery that respects multiple warehouses.

The solution

One platform. Two storefronts.

Why build twice what already works? HomeKraft stands on ToyTown’s engine — and gets everything new exactly where the customer sees it.

Shared with ToyTown

The engine — already proven

  • The same admin: orders, products, Excel-like table editing, stock
  • Scheduled imports from the suppliers
  • Checkout, customer accounts and favorites
  • Speedy shipping labels created from the order
  • Marketing: codes, prize wheel, points, campaigns, automatic emails
New for HomeKraft

Everything the customer sees

  • A storefront in the cobalt blue of the logo, with numbered, blueprint-style sections
  • 17 departments in three groups and around 110 subcategories
  • Filters by color and material
  • Variants grouped in one card with color dots
  • Buy on installments with UniCredit — integration in progress

What the owner gains: the second store doesn’t start from zero, and every improvement to the platform reaches both. One body of knowledge, one admin, two businesses.

The storefront

A store laid out like a good blueprint.

Thousands of pieces of furniture — and customers still get to theirs fast: by room, by color, by material.

Blueprint design

Cobalt blue from the logo and numbered sections — 01 Living room, 02 Bedroom, 03 Garden.

17 departments in three groups

For the home, Garden & yard, More — the whole map of the store on a single page.

Color and material filters

Around 110 subcategories, with filters that match the way people actually choose furniture.

Variants in one card

One model, several colors — a single card with color dots instead of scattered products.

Search the whole catalog

The search bar always sits on top — and tells you how many products you’re searching.

Favorites and account

For purchases people think over: customers save what they like and come back to it.

HomeKraft · all categories
HomeKraft’s “All categories” page — 17 departments in the groups For the home, Garden & yard and More

The store map

17 departments. One page.

Every department and every subcategory in one place. The customer picks a room or a type of furniture and carries straight on to the products.

  • For the home — Living room, Dining room, Bedroom, Hallway, Office, Bathroom, Kids’ room
  • Garden & yard — Garden, Sheds, Pools, Playgrounds
  • More — Decor, Christmas, Pets, Sport, Appliances, For business

On the phone

The same order — in your pocket.

The big headline, the search bar and the numbered sections all hold up on the small screen.

  • Search the whole catalog from the very first screen
  • The catalog button right under the thumb
  • Sections numbered like a blueprint

AI translation

8,000+ products. Translated with AI.

The supplier sends the catalog in English. HomeKraft’s customers read it in Bulgarian — with no manual translation, product by product.

8,000+ products translated from English into Bulgarian with AI
4 + 1 sources — four suppliers and the old site — in one Bulgarian catalog
~110 subcategories with color and material filters

Translates the whole catalog

More than 8,000 products went from English to Bulgarian — with no manual translation, one product at a time.

Customers read their own language

Furniture is chosen with care. That’s why the catalog is in Bulgarian — the language the customer makes the decision in.

A catalog ready to sell

Translated products sit in the storefront’s 17 departments — with names and descriptions the customer understands.

A platform already running AI

At ToyTown, the same platform uses AI to sort thousands of products into the store’s categories.

Under the hood

The platform is proven. The details are new.

Furniture isn’t toys: bigger sums, bulkier parcels, more warehouses. So on top of the shared platform sit solutions built for HomeKraft alone.

  • 6,600+ redirects — every old address leads to its new page, so the Google rankings survive the move.
  • Speedy, split by warehouse — an order from several suppliers ships as parcels from each supplier’s own warehouse.
  • Buy on installments — UniCredit Consumer Financing; integration in progress.
  • 4 suppliers + the old site — one catalog, one admin.
  • React 19 + Vite with server-side rendering — fast loads and content Google can see.
  • Shared code with ToyTown — every improvement to the platform reaches both stores.
